Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on the Astrological Sign

The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement within the community. From the one-by-one reveal of newcomers before the title's release, to trainers developing firm opinions on the entire lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

Given many of the Super Forms showcasing unique designs that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? This list is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

The Ram – Super Camerupt

To be truthful, Houndoom was nearly selected for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. However, a Super Houndoom appears as always angry, which isn't typical of the Ram's energy, renowned for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Remain on the good side of both and enjoy a powerful partner; if you cross them, prepare to face the consequences.

Taurus – Mega Heracross

Much like a loyal Bull, the reliable Heracross, both in its standard and Super Form, has aided numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. While dependable, both the creature and a Bull are still Fighting types, and – whether it's their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their position unwaveringly. What about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of treats. Many past Pokédex entries note their fondness for tasty tree sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it all, which is true Taurus energy.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Observe this absolute queen. You cannot tell me this creature is not the soul of every party, providing an endless fountain of chatter to those who wish to hear. Just like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Mega Medicham captivating an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which sounds quite similar to a people-smart Twins.

Cancer – Mega Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most sensitive member of the zodiac, a intense sign known for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. According to the official info, Super Evolution charges the creature with a “tremendous quantity of electricity, but it's too much for Manectric to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer emotional outburst. It is also known for its ability to create a storm cloud over its very head – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.

Leo – Super Starmie

Oh, did you assume I was going to select the lion Pokémon for the king of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just went viral for being too fabulous (or horrifying, based on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion brings to the scene. This Pokémon is also rumored to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Lion to be putting on a show, even if for extraterrestrials.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is clearly reflected throughout this Pokémon’s entire lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Virgo when you inform them you lack a 401(k), to its inverted visage that’s just like the symbol a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” instead of creating a strategy.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, empathetic creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Consistently empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Libras who would probably benefit from Super Audino's skills. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just make them stress even more about others.

Scorpio – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it gained sentient through pure resentment and vowed revenge on its previous caretaker. Per the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

The Archer – Mega Hawlucha

Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a performance. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small jester” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even notes how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can think of.

Capricorn – Mega Absol

Were you aware that a Mega Absol has the power to predict calamities in advance? That exudes the identical vibe as a Capricorn, who tends to always believe they’re correct. Interestingly, similar to a visionary Super Absol, they frequently are. It’s also the absolute initial Mega Evolution that players encounter in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the ground floor of the Super Form craze.

Aquarius – Super Chandelure

Aloof element Water Bearer is possibly the non-fire sign that is closest to a flame symbol – its counterpart is Leo, and there are numerous jokes about the Archer and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Mega Chandelure’s dual Ghost/Fire typing fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting presence is also very Water Bearer. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Mega’s description says it “absorbs hatred and transforms it into strength.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
