The Co-Creator of Call of Duty, Dies in an LA Car Crash

Vince Zampella, who helped create the globally famous first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in California at the age of 55.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, the video game company he co-founded.

The celebrated video game developer lost his life when his car crashed and burst into flames on a freeway in the Los Angeles area on this past Sunday, as reported by.

"This is an unimaginable loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, his family, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts commented.
