Football Expert Chris Sutton Faces Off Against Singer Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game winning streak was ended by the Black Cats prior to the international break, however can the Premier League frontrunners recover against north London rivals Spurs this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked football specialist Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's side typically still find a way to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, against AI, fans and a variety of guests.
For week 12, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
Murs' latest record, the new release, is available on Friday.
Football and Family Life
Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a serious return as a footballer.
"{I actually played in a charity match the other night for a mate of mine," he explained. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I still love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the game means it's too dangerous for me in my profession to do it seriously again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am gearing up for the time that my child or boy decides to play instead."
The singer and his wife Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.
"I will not push football on our kids but I've previously told my wife that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my manager qualifications - and I will probably be managing their weekend football side," he added.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I clearly was involved with a soccer team for a while too.
"My dad did it with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He managed our team for two or three years and had a wonderful time with it. That could be the next step for me as well, and I am excited to it!"
Premier League Predictions
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their attack is now more potent with Pedro and Liam Delap both back fit.
I still think this fixture will be quite close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
It suggests a one-all tie to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.
The expert's prediction: 1-2
Olly's prediction: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3
AI's prediction: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - although both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.
On the other hand, West Ham won two in a row before the hiatus and, although both of those games were at their stadium, they do look strong again.
West Ham's sole away victory this campaign came at Nottingham Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously Forest coach.
Therefore, what exactly do I predict here - will it be West Ham continuing their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I am going to go with the Cherries, because I believe what occurred against Villa was a anomaly.
Sutton's prediction: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but West Ham have improved under Nuno. 2-2
AI's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have surprised a few observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four games.
My son told me to get Bees striker Igor Thiago in my fantasy soccer squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am still not going to select him or back the away side at Amex Stadium.
They have not had great fortune on the travel this season, and Brighton are always decent at their stadium. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I think Fabian Hurzeler's side pose much more of a danger.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be one of those games where you think there is going to be a lot of goals but it actually proves to be rather close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive fixture for the Cottagers, who have suffered defeat in five of their past six matches.
Fulham have got plenty of quality in their team but it still seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.
Regarding Sunderland, well they are the unexpected success of the Premier League season so far.
The away side's display in the 2-2 draw with Arsenal last time out was superb. We've not witnessed anyone else disrupt the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice to do to support the visitors here, because they are clearly capable of roughing the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated the Blues at the close of October.
However I am not do that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing the away team with my predictions. I am taking a lot of responsibility for their good outcomes because they evidently enjoy to prove me wrong.
Looking at Fulham's home record, the sole side they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's side will be extremely eager for a good outcome, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.
Sutton's prediction: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know the visitors are performing strongly and additionally that Fulham are on a poor streak... but Fulham have nonetheless been decent at home this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0
- Anfield, 15:00 GMT
It is a tough fixture to predict. The Reds have suffered seven of their last ten games in all competitions, but might they be among the teams who profit from the {international break|
